Our Vintage love. Vicious.

Its lunch time at the Hilton St Louis Frontenac and guess what I had! Seafood fettucine (sp?). It was all right. It was really hot so I had to wait for it cool down while I chowed down on bread sticks. Those were hot too! So I’m taking it home since I didn’t have a chance to finish. Haha, like yeah.

So, I was up until about 5:50am reading (b/c I’m a nerd, don’t judge me) and I’m at lunch right now. So tired.

But I had crepes! They weren’t that good. Like, aren’t crepes supposed crispy…somewhat? They were somewhat sawgy (sp?). But yeah. Hope this day turns out great.

Like, yeah.

So it was roughly 8:30am this morning when the fire alarm went off. Again. But it was cool because I was about to get up soon. But anyway, we had to leave the comfort of our warm bedrooms and venture out into the cold cold morning. It was just awful.

And I had a test today. I hate fire drills with a fiery passion that burns deep inside my tiny little soul.

I was almost went into cardiac arrest. Again. Still not cutesy.

It was roughly around 2:30 and I was lying in my bed, nearly asleep, when the godforsaken fire alarm goes off. Like yeah.

It scared the everything out of me. Naturally we had to go outside and make a ridiculously cold trek to the soccer field, drunk and sober students alike. My best bet? Someone decided to be a douche and pull the alarm.

I sigh. Like yeah. I’m going to bed now but I swear I almost went into cardiac arrest.

Not cutesy at all.

Ok! So I’m not exactly sure if this has anything to do with chivalry but I’m saying it anyway! The gentlemen of umkc have revived the act of chivalry by opening doors for us young gals!

Yeah I’m all for gender equality and all that but I like having a nice young fellow come and open the door for me. It makes me feel…some kind of wonderful. Like yeah.

So! This morning I was feeling mighty down. You know, when you start thinking about a really awful day and it pisses you off every time it enters your thoughts?

Yeah, that’s how I felt. Gosh it almost drove me to tears! I was so angry! But then I realized that even though I had every reason to complain and be upset, my overall situation could’ve been much worse!

Moral of the story…no matter what you’re going through, it could always be worse right? Be optimistic!
